Vulnerability to Climate Change Effects and Coping Capacity of the Local Community.
Our project area is highly susceptible to, or unable to cope with, adverse effects of climate change including climate variability and extremes(flooding) moreover the coping capacity of the society are very poor since the majority were poor and marginalized group we will also focus on anthropogenic and other causes of environmental degradation and livelihoods problems of the community. Therefore the critical and vital solution for the above stated and well described challenges in the project area is the community itself but we don’t mean “the community as doing business as usual” but well organized, informed, capacitated and empowered community CBO are the perfect platforms to participate the local community and develop and implement different adaptation and development projects by themselves. Therefore to save the local community from flooding, extreme land degradation and improve their livelihoods we ask your support in terms of finance and technical knowledge to efficiently address the issue.
